LIGHT-ROM 6 was released as a 4 CD-ROM collection on June 30, 1998. I have re-released the collection onto a single CD-ROM on April 15, 1999. To fit all of this material onto a single CD-ROM, I transferred most of the image files to the JPeg file fomat.
Everything on the original 4 CD-ROM collection is on this single CD-ROM.
The "Desktop Video Collection" CD-ROM contents can be found in the "Video" directory along with the Indexes directory of thumbnail previews. This collection consists of over 550 background images with a 752 x 480 resolution suitable for laying text over. These backdrops and their thumbnail previews are in the JPeg file format.
The seamless texture collection can be found in the "Textures" directory along with the Indexes directory of thumbnail previews. These textures and their thumbnail previews are in the JPeg file format.
The collection of images from Oberland computers is located in the "Oberland" directory along with the Indexes directory of thumbnail previews. All of these images and their previews are in the JPeg file format.
All of the Demos can be found in the "Demos" directory.
All of the World Construction Set demo material can be located in the "WCS" directory. THe "Table42" images are in the JPeg file format.
The Puppet Master files are located in the "Puppet_M" directory. I have had some problems getting this Puppet Master scene file to load properly. This does require the Puppet Master plugin to load.
Dean Scott's "ABomb-ROM" has been transferred to Jpeg images and is located in the "Scenes/ABomb" directory. All of the regular Lightwave content is presented as it was on the original CD-ROM. The ABomb scene file and all of the other Lightwave material loads properly once you set the Content Directory under your Options menu to your CD-ROM drive with this CD-ROM installed. For further instructions on how to set your Content Directory, consult your Lightwave 3D manual. The "Indexes" directory shows thumbnail previews of all of the Lightwave material on this CD-ROM. These thumbnail renderings are in the JPeg file format and are there for easy previewing of the Lightwave content.
To the original purchaser of this CD-ROM, this material can be used in your own productions royality free. This material can not be published as is, on any other CD-ROM collection, internet site, BBS or any other form of media without written permission from Graphic Detail Inc.
